Occupational Therapy (OT)

Occupational therapists are health care professionals who work with people of all ages with various health issues. They work to adapt surroundings and tasks to help people live better with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses.

Occupational Therapy (OT)

Occupational Therapy helps people achieve independence in all aspects of their lives.

OT treatment programs focus on achieving functional independence through therapeutic interventions addressing perceptual motor skills, fine motor skills, strength and coordination, sensory integration, and self-care activities.

There are many reasons to see an OT. If a health condition, accident, injury, or disease has made it hard for you to take part in daily activities, occupational therapy may help you recover, improve, or maintain skills for everyday life. People with disabilities or those recovering from injury or illness sometimes need help to resume their daily activities and prior level of function.
