Elite Therapy Services is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Physical Therapist (PT)

Responsible for evaluating, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury.

Job Duties Include:

  • Provide educational information about physical therapy and physical therapists, injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote health.
  • Refer clients to community resources and services.
  • Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
  • Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and concerns prior to intervention.
  • Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Works as part of a team to provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist. PTAs implement selected components of patient/client interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient/client as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort.

Job Duties Include:

  • Instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients as they practice exercises and functional activities.
  • Confer with physical therapy staff and others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment.
  • Administer active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and modality treatments.
  • Observe patients during treatments to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses and progress, and report to physical therapist.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Occupational Therapy Assistants (also known as OTAs) provide treatment to children and adults of all ages with disabilities, injuries, and illnesses under the supervision of occupational therapists. Initially OTAs work together with occupational therapists to develop a treatment regimen for the patient. They provide direct hands-on assistance by implementing treatment plans as developed by the occupational therapist.

Job Duties Include:

  • Assist patients in carrying out daily activities
  • Help patients with poor social skills and learning disabilities improve everyday function
  • Teach patients how to use special equipment to assist with improving quality of life
  • Work in collaboration with occupational therapists to establish and carry out a rehabilitation plan
  • Supervise patients’ activities to ensure they are done properly
  • Work with disabled children and assist them in play activities that enhance skillfulness
  • Report the patient’s progress to occupational therapists
